Board Breaking Stand

My project over the last few days, to build a board breaking stand for the Taekwon-do club so we can practice the destruction technique. This is a photo of the one at the grading.

As the one above is not height adjustable I thought I would build one to my own design so kids and adults of all sizes could use it.

The frame complete, and now for the board holder itself that will slide up and down the frame to whatever height is needed.

Finished article, extremely solid and works a treat.

That looks awesome! I've had a board breaker since 1993 and I have been looking for newer designs since ours is not very portable (need a large van or station wagon). With our breaker it can hold 12 boards (broken 10 on it with no problems yet).

I hope that you are still active. I am looking to make a board holder for the taekwondo school my family is part of. Would you by any chance have schematics for this holder?
