London Zoo

On the way to the zoo we took a walk through Regents Park.

First stop in the zoo was the Giraffes.

A couple of meerkats having a square go at each other.

The monkeys are always a crowd pleaser at the zoo.

A rather mean looking animal skilled in the ancient art of Bearkwon-do.

Lossiemouth

Thanks to D&S for letting us borrow their caravan in Silver Sands Lossiemouth for a long weekend. The highlight of the break was definitely the beautiful beach.

Shorts and Shades Funday

The annual work funday at Ardoe House was a shorts and shades theme this year. The best one in many years as the weather was great.

Time for the parents to get involved, Jackie was leading the Mum's space hopper race at the turning point, but lost pace and ended 3rd. A bit of a scrap in the turn during the Dad's race in which the clown ended on his backside, oops. It paid off though as I crossed the finish line first to claim my bag of Haribo.

Taekwon-do grading

I graded for my yellow belt and B&J completed the training, so next time they will be ready to grade.

Back to School

Last year of primary school for B, and J is now a senior moving into P4.

Yikes, I'm Lost!

S&R now hooked on geocaching, we headed on a 3km bike run along the Kintore forest road to find the one entitled 'Yikes, I'm lost'. When I eventually found it I understoood the name, as the last 150m was on foot through really thick undergrowth and trees, leaving you totally disorientated. No good for the kids to trek through, but my GPS eventually led me there. Unfortunately I got lost on the way back and had to shout to the kids back at the bikes and follow their voices.

Tyrebagger again

We introduced the neighbours kids S&R to Geocaching on a trip to Tyrebagger sculpture trail. There are two treasures to find on the walk.
