Aye, it is a long long way to run & a lot of it is uphill too. Too late to back out now.

Dad needs some motivational music to get through this one.
The mums and kids were going to take part in the 1k fun run but it was too cold & wet so instead they went for some lunch at the open air pool cafe then had a little play in the park while the rain eased of for a while.
Dad finished faster than he thought in 1 hour 49 minutes. We missed him finishing as didn't think he would be back so soon and didn't want to stand in the rain for too long. Oooooops
