Dad took part in the Ythan Challenge again this year & Uncle M joined him. It was a lovely sunny day which wasn't good news for those running as it was too hot.

Dad's trainers after the run. Normally the runners go through the Ythan river after the mud pit & it cleans them off and cools them down but this year the coastguards were called away to an emergency just as the race started which meant it wasn't safe to go into the river.
Uncle M needed a little bit of encouragement from J to help him finish.
