Wimbledon

Arrived in London and made our way to Wimbledon to catch the tennis atmosphere sweeping the nation. Andy Murray wasn't playing today, so the queues weren't too long. Actually had to queue to get a ticket which enabled you to join a queue.
Ice cream in the sun on Murray Mount (Henman Hill).

After a tour of the grounds we got tickets to the last game of the day in court No.2 to see the mixed doubles, SA & Sugiyama V Lindesdt & Stubbs. Stopped off for some Pimms on the way. Brilliant atmosphere in the crowd, and a good laugh cheering on Hawkeye.

When we got home, we checked the match on TV, as we had recorded all of Wimbledon on Sky+, and spotted ourselves in the crowd sipping away at our Pimms in the sun. Fame at last!

Great experince, would highly recommend a trip to Wimbledon.

Ythan Challenge

Annual cross country challenge through Esslemont estate over hay bales, under nets, through mud pools, wading the Ythan, clambering steep inclines etc. A really tough course that I challenge myself at each year. I ended up 133rd out of 351 entrants so was happy with the result. http://www.ythanchallenge.org.uk/

Fathers Day

Fathers day was spent offshore. Now into my third week offshore I have missed J's 8th Birthday, M&S's Wedding, our anniversary, a work colleagues funeral, and now fathers day! The sacrifices you have to make to earn a crust. Looks like the rest of the gang had fun round at Granda's house.

Wedding of M&S

Our friends M&S tie the knot. Unfortunately I was offshore managing a project so could not attend. Looks like everyone had fun.
