Boxing Day

Boxing day saw the Rae clan visiting for dinner, after which Uncle S thrashed everyone at 'Buzz Monster Rumble' on the PS2.

B was excited to see the 12 week scan of her new baby cousin due in May.

"I told you it was Eric Black that scored the first goal in the Cup Winners Cup final in '83 and only after 7 minutes".

J showing off his famous Hoola Hoola dance.

Grandma and Uncle R trying to outsmart J at 'Scooby Doo Haunted House' board game.

Once again Singstar was popular, even Ian gave it a go, but to use one of Simon Cowell's quotes:
"If you would be singing like this two hundred years ago, people would have stoned you."

In the end all the excitement was too much for Granda.

Christmas Day

Christmas day, B awoke around 04:30, opened what was in her stocking from Santa at the bottom of the bed and then fell asleep again. They were both up again around 9:00 and quickly downstairs to see what Santa left in their sacks.

J was delighted that Santa managed to get him the Aberdeen football strip that he asked for, and B wanted Sylvanian family toys.

With our new extension, catering for the Watt clan was no problem at all, it was great to have everyone round for Christmas dinner. J did a fantastic job of the meal, nothing forgotten and nothing burnt.

After dinner 'Singstar' on the PS2 was a big hit and the kids were only too happy to show off their talent.

Apparently a complete facial reconstruction was the only option for Uncle G. A real improvement.

A great day was had by all.

Total Christmas Party

Every year Total organise a christmas party for the kids, and this year our two were split between the two age ranges, J went to Kippie Lodge for a traditional party with games and a magician, and B went to Codonas for a bowling party.

J was picked to go up on stage with the Magician, as you can see he had a great time as the sorcerers apprentice.

B and her friend J enjoyed the dodgems before settling down to a game of bowling.

Extension complete

After many weeks of flooring, facings, skirtings, kitchen fitting, painting and finishing we've finally completed our little project.

As the tradesmen weren't keen on payment of fun-size mars bars and fizzy juice, we had to resort to child labour when the funds started to dwindle.

Photos of the finished rooms. Still some furniture, big screen plasma, soft furnishings, wall hangings etc to source, so it will be more homely come time.
